About the author 

Alec Finlay is a Scottish artist & poet whose work reflects on human engagement with landscape. Recipient of numerous book design awards and shortlistee for the 2010 Northern Art Prize, Finlay recently conceived Sweeney's Bothy, an artist-residency bothy for the isle of Eigg.
